The MAISKA (spray) foam fire extinguisher is almost universally deployable. It is highly user-friendly and extremely effective. When extinguishing with this device, it causes minimal collateral damage. The extinguisher has a very good effect on solid materials (A) and liquid fires (B). It is therefore suitable for use on burning materials such as paper, wood, and textiles.
The MAISKA foam fire extinguisher operates under constant pressure. As it is constantly pressurized, the device is always ready for immediate use. This extinguisher is constructed from a steel cylinder with an exterior polyester resin coating and a flexible interior coating. The special nozzle has a spray pattern that provides the extinguisher with maximum extinguishing power. After removing the safety pin, the foam jet can be activated or stopped by squeezing or releasing the valve. The extinguishing valve is equipped with a pressure indicator. If you want to measure the pressure for this extinguisher, it can be done using a pressure gauge pump. The extinguishing foam is under nitrogen pressure in the cylinder. Our extinguisher meets all safety requirements.
The MAISKA foam fire extinguishers are provided with a rich type approval and are manufactured according to EN3 (M.E.D.). Additionally, the extinguishers are marked with the CE certification and approved by the maritime authorities (Marine Equipment Directive).
Foam extinguishing agent is a mixture of water, foaming agent, and ambient air. Foam has a low thermal conductivity, which causes unignited fuels to be insulated and then protected from heat. The foam of the MAISKA foam fire extinguisher causes minimal collateral damage. In a solid material fire (A), the foam penetrates the burning material, quickly cooling it and extinguishing the fire. In burning liquids (B), a kind of "film layer" is formed, preventing oxygen from being admitted.
